Ingredients:
Outer Layer
2 Cups - White Flour
1/4 Cup - Wheat Germ
1 - Egg
1/2 Cup - Water
Filling
1/2 pound of Ham
1 - Egg
1/4 Cup - Flour
2 Tablespoons - Cornstarch
Egg Wash
1 - Egg
4 Tablespoons - Cornstarch
1 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Filling
2 - In a medium size bowl, combine ham ( chopped very fine in food processor),egg, cornstarch, and flour. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
Outer Layer
3 - In a large bowl combine flour, wheat germ, egg and water mix thoroughly .
4 - Roll out outer layer dough onto lightly floured surface about 1/8 to 1/4 inch in thickness
5 - Cut strips of dough about 1 by 3 inches.
6 - Shape filling ( about one teaspoon) into a hot dog shape.
7 - Place hot dog shaped filling onto outer filling strip and roll up until outer ends meet.
8 - Seal seams with cornstarch egg wash.
9 - Transfer to greased baking sheet, brush top with more egg wash.
10 - Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden.
Transfer to rack to cool, Store in air tight container and refrigerate.
