Posts: 96 01/13/12 01:57 PM	Tags : None Dennis & I got food poisoning from meal we ate at a buffet Sunday night. We were both so sick on Monday we stayed home. First time for Dennis in 30 years.Have you ever experienced 2 people having the runs & urps & only one bathroom ? ....Not pretty. Between the bathroom visits we had to call the dental offices to reschedule that days patients because we weren't going to get them or the next days done on time.....You would have thought the world was ending. We got questions like, "Couldn't you just some in & deliver our cases & then go home?" What part of bathroom visits don't you get? Anyway we dragged ourselves in to work on Tuesday & then home & collapsed that night. On Wednesday we felt better but I had a relapse on Thursday. Overdid on Wednesday. And wouldn't you know it w are swamped at work. We'll be working this weekend again. Anyway it's Friday & we do feel better. I'm still eating light because my stomach feels like it has been through a war. And we were going to celebrate Dennis' 65th birthday tonight....I wonder if we'll be up to it. I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see. John Burroughs

Posts: 10014 01/13/12 08:58 PM Administrator	Years ago, about two year after hubby and I got married we were living in an apt while building our house. Yep one bathroom. We had picked up one of those roasted chickens at the grocery store......and about 1 am, I ran to the bathroom. I never threw up so much in my entire life. In between, I ran and got the bucket incase we needed it. But hubby's schedule of throwing up was about 1/2 hour off mine. It was horrible. We felt like crap for 3 days. We owned a business and had to crawl into the office on the Monday. But my stomach literally took 2 months to feel better. I ate crackers, Vernors and plain ramen noodles for weeks. Hubby wasn't as bad as me,....but it's no fun having both of your sick at the same time. Our Nash was the best boy and just slept between us for 2 days. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENNIS! Cindy and Nash Nash was born 9/2/1998, and is my sweet 1/2 breed Cocker Spaniel/English Springer Spaniel. He was dx'd with diabetes in November 2007 and is currently on 9 units of Novelin N twice a day. Nash went blind approximately 6 mnths after dx, has glaucoma and gets eye drops 5x day
