Posts: 96 12/27/11 01:22 PM	Tags : None Good afternoon all. Like this little fellow so I added him to my post today. Still warm 30F but pretty windy all night. Guess not as warm as yesterday though. What a day that was! It's back to work this morning & we had a few mopey dogs when they realized we were leaving. Tears my heart out to see those faces. I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see. John Burroughs

Administrator Posts: 7347 12/27/11 01:50 PM Administrator & Owner	Its so true .. they get use to us being home when we have been home for a few days in a row... then the faces get sad all over again... But they do adjust ! and just think of how happy they will be when you get home tonight !! lol

Posts: 10014 12/27/11 05:26 PM Administrator	Yep, I hate the sad faces. Man, have to love how work interfere's with life eh? Hahaha! We are getting a bit of snow here in Michigan. Maybe 2-3 inches, but was dry and warm the 4 day weekend. Wore light jackets all weekend. LOVED IT! Cindy and Nash Nash was born 9/2/1998, and is my sweet 1/2 breed Cocker Spaniel/English Springer Spaniel. He was dx'd with diabetes in November 2007 and is currently on 9 units of Novelin N twice a day. Nash went blind approximately 6 mnths after dx, has glaucoma and gets eye drops 5x day

Posts: 572 12/28/11 09:34 AM	Yeah those sad little faces. I see them every night when I start up to my room..DJ is not too bad but Panda makes a complete change. Normally she insists on a hug every time I enter the room, but when she realizes I'm getting to go upstairs she runs of and jumps up on Jeans recliner`and growls when I reach for her, then reluctantly gives me a hug. lol..I guess she thinks if I don't get a hug I won't leave.

Moderator Posts: 3054 12/28/11 12:38 PM	ours are good for the sad eyes, especially CeeCee, chi's eyes are so big and round and then she lets the ears droop close to her head, Prissy will sit and stare and then her body shakes....makes ya just want to hug them and never let go lol
