Posts: 451 10/15/11 12:21 AM	Tags : None This little chihuahua/Min Pin (?) puppy was surrendered to our hospital because she has a broken leg.� Her name is Hero and she is only 3 months old.� Jerry spent some time with her today and was a good sport while Hero picked on her.� She will have surgery on her leg on Monday and hopefully be adopted soon.

Posts: 3852 10/15/11 07:38 AM Administrator	I love the look on Jerry's face here. Looks like she's saying: WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THAT? Or....GET THE HECK OUT OF MY KENNEL! Hope the puppy gets all healed up and at the end, gets a forever home! Something they all deserve.

Posts: 451 10/20/11 12:17 AM	The owner's kid accidentally stepped on her, that's how her leg got broken. Surgery is very expensive, about $5,000 and the owner couldn't afford that. She was very sad about giving her up. But she's doing great now, her name has been changed to Poppy and she had pins put in the leg on Monday. My co-worker is adopting her and will take her home in about 8 weeks when the pins come out!

Posts: 451 10/26/11 12:13 AM	Update: Her name has been changed yet again to Vivian (Viv for short). She is quite the rascal, she barks like she's a big dog and she barks a lot at other dogs that come into the treatment area. She has her own cage but sometimes she likes to hang out with Jerry.
