Moderator Posts: 3053 05/11/11 09:00 AM	Welcome, has Inca been checked out by vet? maybe he/she is getting into something it shouldn't? or could now have a sensitve tummy? have you changed food? There are so many factors that could cause this, but first place to start would be a visit to the vets

Diarrhea is a really vague subject as it can be caused by sooo many things: food changes, parasites, stress, and other health related issues. If accompanied by other symptoms, such as vomiting, lethargy, weight loss, it could signal a more serious problem. Inca needs to be seen and tests need to be run to figure out what is causing this. Sudden and severe diarrhea in an otherwise healthy dog, is always a medical emergency. Dehydration, if he isn't eating or drinking during these times, could be serious as well. Can you give us a bit more information on his symptoms, age, where you live, etc. and my Lucy, American Pugsley, age 15 -born 4/18/1996, DX. diabetic Nov. 07, blind 2/08, Weight 11 lbs., Humulin N 7 U , Homecooked chicken/white rice with canned Hills W/D My sweet, baby Lucy left me peacefully on October, 24, 2011 with her head on my shoulder and my comforting whispers in her poor little, deaf ear. I know she was met faithfully at the bridge by all her friends that went before her. Rest in peace, my baby. Lucy, 4/18/96-10/24/11
