In the evening I serve him plain crock pot chicken, sometimes mixed with duck or buffalo or chicken or turkey canned food. He will
easily eat 1 to 1 1/2 cups of food in the evening. He gets different treats and eats them heartily, I don't know what brand, but 0 wheat and no sugar and no salt. He loves Beggin' strips but I don't give him those anymore. I do not home test. I could, I suppose, but I read you have to poke the lips and I prefer to not do this. He has mellowed a great deal - no longer barks and is not aggressive. He was a rescue dog I adopted when he was 7 years old.
