Posts: 975 04/01/11 12:16 PM	Tags : None Was alerted to watch The View. A disgusting TV show where everyone talks at one time...but that is not surprising with four ladies expressing their views. However, subject discussed was our attempt to eliminate puppy mills and required proper breeding. All agreed except the lady named Whoppie who thought it should be her choice to go buy a dog anywhere. Although I never plan to watch the show again, I was proud to see our topic brought up on national TV and actually discuss the problem of improper breeding. I will take progress wherever we can find it.....

They don't understand how these practices are ruining certain breeds of dogs with all sorts of disease issues, and how these dogs are treated (the dam and sire) at the puppy mills. Someone needs to send her a copy of pictures of puppy mills dogs. Davis, I had to laugh about your comment about 4 women talking all at once. We all do that here except you can't tell, HAHAHA!! God bless you for putting up with us! Cindy and Nash Nash was born 9/2/1998, and is my sweet 1/2 breed Cocker Spaniel/English Springer Spaniel. He was dx'd with diabetes in November 2007 and is currently on 9 units of Novelin N twice a day. Nash went blind approximately 6 mnths after dx, has glaucoma and gets eye drops 5x day

Posts: 571 04/01/11 04:07 PM	I've never watched the show but I know Whoopie (Goldberg) well. She's one of my favorite actresses, or was. I'm not so sure now if that's the way she feels. But I think that's what that show is all about, somebody has to disagree.

And if you believe in something strong enough, I don't care what you're told to do, or how much you're paid, you stick with your 'ideal'.
