Dr. Lee - Fritz, my bicon frise, has a slightly raised bumpy spot on top of his head. It is about the size of a quarter and it seems to be growing. I will try to take a picture of it and post it tomorrow. We have a vet appointment on Friday, but I was wondering if you had any ideas.

Fritz has a sebaceous cyst, not a tumor! A lump is just a lump!

Jerri can now relax.

Another thing I thought of with Fritz and this lump on his head was possibly him getting little horns popping thru. We all know he is a little devil! Shocked
Glad to hear that all is well on the Fritz Man!

Jerri, Pat's Cricket just had a couple removed, and that is what Nash has on his neck, and under a leg, but they are small and have stayed that way.
Are they going to remove it? Or just watch it?

Jerry,
Sorry for the delay. My new position still has me in a bit of a whirlwind. I am working to try to get things back into balance. Please keep PMing me. Smiley
I a glad that the mass was only a follicular cyst. That is always good news! Woohoo.

Thank you, Dr. Lee. The vet did remove it. My husband said Fritz didn't even blink. I took pictures of it, but don't know how to post pictures here yet. It was about the size of a quarter and black! The vet shaved the hair off the top of his head (looks really funny), and after a week of Neosporin, the spot seems to be healed. We have to watch it closely. If it starts to grow back, the vet wants to go under the skin, which means surgery! Little guy is only 2 years old.

Well, lets hope that it doesn't require surgery Jerri!
