Ad after ad lamblasting opponets with dasterdly deeds while describing themselves as a gift from God. When elected, they forget the great deeds and stand in line from the cash bucket. We are in trouble so we hope for the best....

Moderator Posts: 1494 10/20/10 06:37 PM	It is very hard to watch TV anymore! It used to be that the candidates got really ugly about a week before the elections. Now with early voting, they are pulling out the big guns early. We put our hopes and futures in these people, and it seems we always end up getting sc***ed!!! I'm a very poor liar, so politics is not in my future. I don't think you can be honest and be a politician! Sissy, a 15 1/2 year old lhasa apso left for the Rainbow Bridge on February 28, 2009. She was diagnosed on September 21, 2007. You can run and your eyes are clear, my girl. On March 8, 2009, we adopted Fritz, a Bichon Frise puppy. He is a rescue dog with a beautiful spirit.

My favorite is "Meg" who shouted about all her plans to combat illegal immigration, while employing her own illegal housekeeper for the last 9 years. She also never voted in any elections for the last 20+ years!!! Liar, liar, pants on fire! Who can we trust? As far as I'm concerned, the vote means nothing and it matters not whose in office. The end result will be the same- suffering and grief for the people. I don't care who gets in. and my Lucy, American Pugsley, age 15 -born 4/18/1996, DX. diabetic Nov. 07, blind 2/08, Weight 11 lbs., Humulin N 7 U , Homecooked chicken/white rice with canned Hills W/D My sweet, baby Lucy left me peacefully on October, 24, 2011 with her head on my shoulder and my comforting whispers in her poor little, deaf ear. Moderator Posts: 3053 10/21/10 11:46 AM	do what I do when they call - when they ask will I take a minute poll I tell them no thank you and hang up ...they are as bad as Comcast who calls each time they do a service call....wanted me to rate their questions and my responses on a scale of 1 to 10 which of course I wouldn't ...told them the service was fine, guy did a nice job and no was I going to tell them my income since I did not think that had anything to do with the service we go and then I hung up ROFL...

Thank god I have no land line for the election calls, and hardly ever watch regular TV since I hate commericals! I'm with you Dee I don't care who gets in because in the long run we still pay the price like we are now! Aspen, Yellow Lab, 13years old diagnosed with diabetes 12/22/09. Got her wings on August 23rd, 2010. She will be missed but remembered with much joy in my heart always.

Our Congress was formed as part time duties to the country. Help the country and then go back home to your jobs. Maybe if we get angry enough, things can change.

Posts: 975 11/02/10 01:14 PM	California is broke..and broken. Pensions and welfare have put us too far in the hole to even attempt recovery. My dream would be to have government limited to three month sessions....less chance to do evil. It was not meant as a full lifetime job. Stalemate is the best we can hope for now...nothing done is good news.

I love California, but only from Carmel north. In the election here in this county, only ONE Democrat managed to pull out a victory. He was the incumbent, but the race was close. I just pray that the people coming in are honest dependable people (yeah, right, but one can pray), and thatthe biggest mistake of our political history wasn't made last night. Yes, she spent 141 million on her campaign but no one knew who she was. At least it was her money. Brown is still known as Moonbeam and he only carried 51% of the vote. I voted for the lady Carly former head of HB...At least we now have gridlock in Congress and serious discussion can begin. Obama now has to listen. I would hate to be Governor of this state....Southern California is nice too...if you speak Spanish...

That is where Hwy 1 starts to really get beautiful and goes through some beautiful nice little tourist towns with great scenery like Morro Bay, and San Simeon where Hearst Castle is located.
