Posts: 451 09/19/10 07:47 PM	Sometimes Jerry runs off with my underwear when I leave it on the bathroom floor when I'm taking a shower. I love when she runs laps around my apartment. She usually does that when she gets into something she shouldn't, like the bathroom trash, and has a tissue in her mouth. I chase after her and she plays keep-away with me. My outside shoes....she thinks they are the greatest! She purrs and rubs her head all over them. No reason why, other than she wants her scent on them or the scent of the shoes on her! Silly cat!

I went to the pet store, and I got a new kind of walking leash Check it out, WORKS WAY WAY BETTER She doesn't pull me anymore, YAY! As for the cushions...well, I admit, It just made me giggle... No big deal...right? Orrr...do I need to punish her for 'that?' and... What is the best way to 'punish?;because, I REFUSE TO HIT HER' Do I put her outside? Put her in her kennel? Yell? WHAT?please...Tell me what the best way to 'punish Coupe is' ...without hurting her ~THANKS~ See ya's again soon... HERE'S COUPE WITH HER NEW LEASH ON She's being good, see it goes around her nose, and I still also use the neck one too Between the two leashes, she really walks nicely 'beside me'...and... She has no idea that you are the Boss. I know very well that our dogs are cute and do love-able things but later, these love-able things turn into a nuisance.. You are doing fine and she now knows you are Boss when walking with her. Good Go....

I don't care tho...because, If this makes my puppy the BEST ever...and she loves me, like she does...till we die... Well tears YOU all have no idea, how hard my life has been...till now, I never felt anything really like this before THIS DOG LOVES ME...and I know it...because she shows me all the time, with her eyes, her licks, and her cuddles...she listens pretty good now...and walks GREAT ...we are coming along... One day...who knows...maybe some man will show me the same consideration and loving attention, but...till such time, I am happy to have my 'Coupe' by my side AND...I will 'NEVER HIT HER' I know how it feels to be 'hit'...it's not NICE!

Posts: 10009 09/23/10 09:09 PM Administrator	Lisa, I think you are doing great, and well, it's apparent how much you love Coupe.......the biggest thing for dogs is that we must remember they are dogs, and try not to put human emotions on them. They understand things much simpler than us. Praise the good and try not to over do the bad. Otherwise she things she can get attention by doing the bad. Claire NEVER chews on anything other than her toys. We ALWAYS make sure she has plenty of toys at all time, in every toom. We use one word commands......we keep it simple. They want to please you. And hitting NEVER works, nor yelling. Firm bit louder voice works......the tone. And you know what, they teach us so much, I am sure you will learn some things along the way too. Posts: 1994 09/25/10 08:18 PM	Out of all my dogs Sophie is the one that steals shoes and socks. Ok I will admit it. I taught her to take my socks off. She does well most of the time Sometimes she gets a hold of my foot and sock. Ouch!!! She never chews the socks just flips them. And as far as my shoes. She will chew them. Got a hold of my Crocs!!! Little crap. Her and Sebastian like to chew empty toilet paper rolls. I think Bastian taught her to do this. BTW Sophie is a German short haired pointer whom I rescued from a client of mine. She was tied outside. No shelter and a small bowl of water and food. She has gained 8# since we got her a year ago. Sophie hates the rain I wonder why? Last Edited By: rhodesian46 09/25/10 08:20 PM.
