Yes please I would love to read anything you can get. Vaccine are needed, but I wonder if we give to many. When you compare it to what childern get dogs got more per year then kids.

Hi All,

I must apologize for giving you all the incorrect admission fee to the upcoming vaccine seminar in March. Admission is $115 which includes breakfast & lunch and a bag of dogfood. If you want to pay $110.00 more you can get preferred seating and recognition. Not sure how much recognition you get but if I pay $110, I want more than my name announced as a big spender. Perhaps a little soft shoe and a duet with Dr. Dodds on stage.

Thank you for responding to this thread on the issues and keeping it on point...

I also want to thank you for the link on autism.. I will go through it tonight when all is slow and I have time to my self to absorb...
Autism holds a strong place in my heart....And I will pass it on to the family members that are close to me also...

I abhor animal testing of any kind and feel more appropriate test subjects would be death row inmates. I mean after all, why not use a human models for human drugs, cosmetics, chemicals, etc. Wouldn't it be great if inmates made it possible to discover miracle drugs for our animal friends? I'd personally like to take a baseball bat to the scumbags that employ animal testing for the sole purpose of human vanity. Nevertheless, animal testing has been common practice for generations and is actually mandated by our government in many instances. I am therefore very surprised that anybody here would be stunned and horrified that dogs...

Hi Anne, Sorry I haven't been here to review all this. I'll try to get on at weekend and take a better look. My laptop is down, and my desktop is in the back forty of my house, and seperates me too much from the family to spend too much time on it (and niece is moving in two days, so want to spend some time with her).

But, I would say, if they are researching using dogs (I'm aware of how they test for rabies (decap) after death......that is not a pretty picture.

I don't blame you for not wanting to over vac your baby. I have heard many times that the rabies last quite a bit beyond the 3 years that they say.

How is Gabe?

If you have solid information on the Autism and the shots I would love for you to send it to me in a PM...
The parents of my god son have gone to the ends of the earth to help them understand this better and are under the impression that the early inoculations have played a strong part... also diet is now suppose to be key in controlling it....( along with some medications).
I would like to forward your findings to her so she can then look elsewhere for her answers.
Its very sad and they have there hands very full with him...

I also took some classes on Autism.. and found it also Not what I believe...
It is said if you have one child that has Autism you most likely will have all children with the same disorder...
I do not believe this...

My cousin has a autistic son and had a daughter after and she does not have it.
The birth mother of my god son.. ( hes adopted)... also has sisters that have...

A Speech Pathologist is a doctorate in speech production dealing with anything interfering with speech production..ie: strokes, autism, cleft palate, head injuries etc. Just retired after over fifty years in the field.

No. I am a Speech Pathologist who works with Autism and have been involved with these studies for over the last 15 years. Anyway, did not mean to disrupt your thoughts first posted.

Johanna...I fully understand your opinions and have visited this subject many many times with patients of mine. Have been involved in many studies and each study completed shows no connection. National studies provide the same answer. Seems easily confused as the autism comes to attention at the same time period of shots but the relationship ends there.

If it were public that there was a connection do you think parents would get there children vaccinated???
I have a god son that has Autism.. And There is a lot of research that proves otherwise..
In Europe they do not give there children the DPT shot until there ready for school...
At that point there body's are so much stronger to withstand any side affects of the shot...
It has been also proven may years ago that many children went blind or mentally restarted
shortly after the shot//That information came out Many years ago.

Ok friends I need to talk and I need your opinion. Remember my new years resolution is to get up everyday and choose to do the right thing. Well, I will not be able to do that without your help. That said....do any of you know about the The Rabies Challenge Fund that is doing research to prove that rabies vaccines last more than a year or three years and more?
