Poor spayed Sophie! It IS more difficult for the females, that's for sure. But, as you noticed, it didn't take long for her to bounce back.

Every time I've had a dog spayed or neutered, I've felt like a creep. I mean, it's the right thing to do. It's just that we humans have such control over these animals. We can do anything we want to them but their opinion doesn't matter. Sigh. It's just another reason to feel guilty.

Anyway - yes - you've missed the opportunity to take pics!

Whoa!! Already bouncing off the walls? Well, that means you missed the picture taking opportunity, doggone it. Can you lay on her and have Gene take the picture, LOL!!!

She got a shot of pain stuff that lasts 24 hours. Today she is back to her own self. Bouncing off the walls.

Aw poor Sophie. She will thank you later with kisses. I had Abby this summer who was just spayed when I got her - she was sooo sick - just like me! Cannot take the anethesia! She spent alot of time in the crate staying quiet. I hope you can keep Sophie quite as well. Did she get any drugs for pain?

I am sorry that I haven't taken pics. Sophie had her spay last night. She is not feeling well today. I feel bad even spaying her. I would imagine she will feel better tomorrow. I haven't had a dog spayed in 8 years so I forgot what it is like. I know neutering is not a big deal. My male dogs were fine the next day. We got Sophie to drink this morning and she ate a bit. Poor baby11

FORGET that!! NO excuses Marianne. I mean, really how silly to be using this as an excuse for not taking a picture of Sophie. The girl does sleep doesn't she?

ONLY kidding about the excuse tonight. But, seriously......you've had her over a week, and someone needs to hold that girl down for her Thanksgiving picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey - maybe she can come in the bathroom with you! Yeah, just shut the door and you should be able to get all the pictures you want. Seriously, I forgot that tomorrow is "the day." I have gone through this - tonight is the worst part. You will also weigh about 5 pounds less tomorrow!

We decided to keep the name Sophie and not Sophia. Sophie is the name she had a birth. Anyway just got back from the vet. Sophie weighed in at 38 #. They did an urinalysis and a urine culture. Also I am deworming her tomorrow as a precautionary. The culture will be in tomorrow morning. Also she had a pedicure. SO $85 and we are out the door. I think that is pretty reasonable. Better safe than sorry. Poor Sophie was so scared to be in the car She was shaking. These SOB's that owned her I would like to choke them. But as you know they are one of my high dollar clients soI will shut up. I have her . That is all that matters. I will try to take a pic tomorrow.
